Always take the lid off first, as the BPA-free lid is not oven safe at any temperature.

What age are these containers suitable for, and how big is a 370ml portion?

Each container holds 370ml (13oz) and measures 14.5 x 10.5 x 4.3cm (5.7" x 4.1" x 1.7"), which suits toddlers through to primary school age. That is roughly a main-meal portion for a toddler, or one component of an older child's packed lunch — pasta, a sandwich, cut fruit or yoghurt. For weaning portions you can fill them part-way rather than needing a smaller pot.

Can I take them from the freezer straight to the microwave?

Yes — the borosilicate glass base is thermal-shock resistant, so frozen portions can go straight into the microwave with the lid removed. This makes them practical for batch-cooking toddler meals and defrosting one at a time. For the oven, thaw first and avoid putting cold glass into a fully preheated oven.

Are the lids dishwasher, oven and microwave safe?

The lids aren’t oven or microwave safe, so take the lid off before reheating. For the longest life, we recommend hand washing the lids in warm soapy water so the silicone seal keeps its grip. The glass base is oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe.

Will they leak in a school bag?

No — each lid has a silicone seal with hinged clips that lock down on all sides, so yoghurt, fruit juice and sauces stay put in an upright or tipped bag. Check every clip is fully pressed closed before packing, as a partly latched lid is the usual cause of a leak.

Can a child open and close them without help?

The clips are designed to hold firmly, so most children manage them comfortably from around school age, while younger toddlers usually need a hand. If your child is packing their own lunch, it is worth a practice run at home so they can open it confidently at the table.

How do I get tomato and puree stains out of them?

Make a paste of bicarbonate of soda and a little water, spread it over the stained area, and leave it a few hours before washing as normal. Tomato, carrot and berry purees cling to the silicone seal more than to the glass, so work the paste into the seal groove too. Drying the lids fully before stacking stops smells building up between uses.

Can I buy a replacement lid or glass base on its own?

Yes — if one part breaks you can replace just that piece rather than the whole set. We stock 370ml replacement lids in packs of five and single 370ml glass bases, both of which fit these containers.

Are they safe for food, and what are they made of?

Yes — the base is borosilicate glass that is LFGB-certified and exceeds FDA standards, and the lids are BPA-free. No plastic touches hot food when you reheat, because the lid comes off first.

What does the 2-year warranty cover, and how do I claim?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects for two years on every Good For You product, wherever you bought it. It does not cover drops, impact damage, or cracking caused by a sudden extreme temperature change. To claim, email us with your order number and a photo of the damaged item, and we will arrange a replacement.

https://formandroam.com/products/kids-glass-lunch-containers-with-lids-6-pack-370ml-snack-pots-glass-food-storage-borosilicate-oven-freezer-microwave-safe-leak-proof
